Its really completly embarassing that Cameron, whose speaker was pretty much the head of the News corp op, is prime of the UK. They draw parallels all the time to Thatcher, but since he tried to stop and succeeded in obstructing the new EU treaty, I think this guy is loona. Well, Im quite happy he gave us ammunition against Sarkozy in the French election campaign, because Sarkozys European policies are an utter failure. But he pissed off the EU and the EU was just controlling whether German stock exchange could buy NYSE Euronext. If they had bought it, LSE would have been a small sized supper. But though Cameron tried so hard, they still decided against German Stock exchange. Mr Cameron is a very lucky fool.
He was in danger that all his blather about the financial location London would become obsolete.
Thatcher crushed the coal industry, Thatcher crushed the car industry. Without the finances, the entire UK would have been some frigging joke.
