He possibly maintained business relations to the entrepreneur Geerkens - against his assurances. The head of the eco parliamentary group in Hanover, Wenzel, accuses the conservative thus again of lying. Wulff takes meanwhile a time-out in Thuringia's forest.
The head of the eco parliamentary group in Hanover, Wenzel, depicted German president Wulff renewdly of lying. "It is becoming more and more obvious, that Wulff didn't even say half the truth, but that he cheated the parliament recklessly" Wenzel told "Frankfurter Rundschau."
German state media ARD had reported before that the businessman Egon Geerkens was a client of the law office, for which Wulff worked over years. The lawyer association pointed out however on request that Wulff had been no more active for it already since 1994, even if his name continued 2b shown on the letterhead. The lawyer association can give however no data about a possible client relationship to Geerkens .
