From what I've seen in the Wulff interview, he did not exactly say he trespassed. At least not that he tried to stop bild from publishing. He said something like maybe I've trespassed and that he felt victimized and thus he perhaps got in the role of the attacker -involuntarily. An analyst of Wulff's body language assumed he was close to the edge in terms of overload.
I also think he didn't appear very fresh.
