Berlusconi caused some mass fist fight in Italys parliament by attempting to push through some new law calling for even shorter trials. He has already pushed through such a measure. The point is, ever since he got in bed with Ruby, he is prosecuted for sex with a minor and this FAST-TRIAL-MODE still comes to grips with this one. Now, to get in front of an Italian court in the future you need at least a chainsaw, otherwise you get booted from court for not being equal to Berlusconi, Calligula&Claudius, ah, Sodom & Ghomorra

Ground water under Fukushima contaminated by 10.000 times

Now, I wrote beforehand that it is a very bad idea to use water in connection with radioactivity. Besides, it is furthermore a very bad idea in connection with uranium because uranium tends to behave like cheap metal. It somehow rusts. In other words, if u get yourself a supersoaker and spray on it, it will show signs of corrosion. It is mostly dealt with, but u cannot guarantee for it under those circumstances. In other words, the nuclear cones will turn to dust and will be set free. But this is not THIS hefty. The more hefty point is that Hydrogen cores under fire from alpha radiation can "junk"into the uranium, and suddenly its not 238 anymore, but 239. Its the problem about the mass of the hydrogen. Its then called plutonium.
Dont get me wrong this is all not this probable. But if u spray 1000 t of water a day on it, its like playing the lottery for nuclear cores above 238.

from wikipedia:

Uranium metal reacts with almost all nonmetallic elements and their compounds, with reactivity increasing with temperature

uranium

The problem about the rusty party is not the Hydrogen in water, btw, but oxygen.

well again, metals are listed in a certain row in the periodic table. And, for certain more fundamental conditions, all metals can corrode, otherwise they wouldn't be metals.

Exclusive: Issa Secured Nearly $1 Million In Earmarks Potentially Benefiting Real Estate That He Owns

ThinkProgress has discovered more troubling evidence that Issa may have blended his work as a lawmaker with his own business empire. After founding a successful car alarm company, Issa invested his fortune in a sprawling network of real estate companies with holdings throughout his district. One of Issa’s most valuable properties, a medical office building at 2067 West Vista Way in Vista, California, is called the Vista Medical Center, and was purchased in 2008 for $16.6 million. Described as “a long-term investment,” the property was bought by a company called Viper LLC, a business entity operated by Issa’s family that Issa has up to a $25 million dollar stake in.

UK: Libya's Foreign Minister to Resign

LONDON -- Libyan Foreign Minister Moussa Koussa told British arrived in the U.K. on Wednesday and is resigning from his post, Britain's government said.

Koussa arrived from Tunisia at Farnborough Airport, about 35 miles (55 kilometers) southwest of London, the Foreign Office said in a statement, adding that he traveled to Britain under his own free will.

"He has told us that he is resigning his post," the statement said. "We are discussing this with him and we will release further details in due course."

Moussa Ibrahim, a Libyan government spokesman, denied that the foreign minister has defected saying he was in London on a "diplomatic mission."

"He is on a diplomatic mission. He has not defected," Ibrahim told reporters in the Libyan capital, Tripoli.

America's Escape from Knowing

The majority of Nazis were careerist, simply yuppies on the make ("just looking for a better life for their children") -- and Nazi officials were giving out the jobs, so they joined the party. Even in the aftermath of the war, after much of their country had been reduced to ruins, the people of Germany refused to face their complicity in the crimes of the Third Reich. In post-war Germany, memory itself seemed to have been firebombed to ash and rubble. For ordinary Germans, the extent of Nazi evil was too great and their own contribution too quotidian to accept personal responsibility for crimes committed by the state. How could the flickering of such tiny desires for personal advancement set the vast world aflame?

Yah well, I don't know, the grandpa of mine (mother side) was born 1899. He served in world war 1 and got an Iron cross. My other grandpa as well. I think what you dont get in this frame is that the world back then was heavily militarized. The Anglos did so as well for their empire. Everything in between 18 and 45 was military. You know, when I was small, I met my grandpa. He was with the nazis in ww2, only at aa meaning he gased no jews or whatsoever but the point is: these people rushed to war. They saw some corpses flying through the air in ww1 and this got their conscience. They simply thought different.

2 weeks ago I saw some pretty interesting movie on German TV station Phoenix concerning Krupp. Krupp was a large steel maker. It ran parallel to Milan vs Munich. Anyway, I watched the Krupp movie. The story is about a company which had already been a big part in the armament of Germany in the first ww. Hitler, a ww1 veteran, was crazy to get these cannons again. It was not only that these people lost their conscience in the first ww, but they imported certain images - forever. One of those images was Krupp. Krupp and militarism. "Hart wie Krupp-Stahl." I think you are very naive calling Hitler somebody who liked to make some form of career. He visited Villa Huegel very often.

Berlusconi showed up in front of a pretrial

German Yahoo

Mailand (dpa) -
Milan - The Italian prime Silvio Berlusconi appeared monday for the first time since a while in a courtroom. Cheered by numerous fans, the 74 year old media tycoon entered the heavily secured Milan court.

It is a pretrial in the so called Mediatrade trade. The judges need to decide during the upcoming hearings whether there will be a full trial against Berlusconi. Berlusconi needs to defend already in four full trials - among them the trial about the minor aged escort girl "Ruby."
remark: Ruby trial is a FAST FULL TRIAL - that means it happens under conditions where the accused one has reduced rights of objection - Berlusconi developed this fascist mode himself to hunt down "auto-criminals (rapists and so on)."

japan and I dont know what they are doing there

Now, first up, I was totally "amazed" during this "aquarium test" in chemistry. On one side of the aquarium is an Anode which emits electrons and on the other side of the aquarium is a kathode that receives electrons. In between the 2 is water and NaCl and it somehow changes. This is fundamental for chemistry. Now because I regarded the whole idea also as totally fundamental I then picked physics in my exam at school and I even got to Bohr. Now, what I remember is that atoms got a nucleus consisting of protons (H) or protons and neutrons (all other elements). In an orbit around those nuclei are electrons. Now, to form moleculs, u got at least two nuclei probably consisting of 2 different elements. Now the nuclei don't change in a molecule, but the orbits of the electrons change, so the (at least) 2 nuclei get "glued." Now, for the creation of the extended orbits u need energy, otherwise there won't be moleculs. Now, if u got extended input of alpha beta or gamma radiation, it's partly not even the case that it's energy, but for alpha radiation it's a Helium core. So what I'm trying to say is that the probability is very high that new moleculs will form "under fire" from alpha or beta or gamma radiation. So if u cool in Fukushima with water the probability is very high that those small nuclei like hydrogen will have "deformed" electron orbits, id est they form new moleculs with other elements, because the mass of the nucleus is insufficient to keep up the normal orbit. These new radioactive born moleculs are mostly totally unknown, and u don't know the spin numbers. They might be hazardous to human health.

So the solution to the problem is that u get a HIND 24 and fit a concrete mixer below the red star at the bottom (due to the theory of relativity) and BUILD A CONCRETE SARCOPHARG and THEN!!!! you cool the SARCOPHARG with water. We call this communism.

German edition:

The environmentalist Greens meanwhile took 25% of the vote, ahead of the 23.5% secured by the Social Democrats. The results mean that the center-left parties can now form a coalition, with the Greens set to name the governor in a German state for the first time.

That the upset should happen in Baden-Wuerttemberg, a wealthy region along Germany's border with France and Switzerland home to luxury car makers Daimler AG (DDAIY) and Porsche SE (POAHY), is doubly embarrassing for Merkel and her party. CDU rule in the state was unchallenged in the post-war era until this election cycle, when creeping voter fatigue with such a protracted political order was magnified by vociferous protests against plans to redevelop Stuttgart's central train station that drew the attention of the nation.

Stuttgart/Mainz (dpa) -
The super-election year in Germany is at a hype this sunday with state voting in Rhinania-Palatinate and Baden-Wuerttemberg. The Christ Dems are supposed to loose their reign after six decades in power with their prime Stefan Mappus in Baden-Wuerttemberg.

If this historical rift should take place, there would also be consequences for the conservative government of German chancellor Angela Merkel (Christ Dems). The social dem Beck in Rhinania Palatinate is expected to need a coalition partner to continue his reign.

In Hessia there are also municipal elections taking place. A total of 15.5 mio citizens is expected to vote.

The election campaign was overshadowed in the end heavily by the nuclear catastrophy in Japan and a new debate about nuclear energy in Germany. Merkel defended concerning the appraoaching end of the election campaign phase in Trier (Treverorum)(see also Porta Nigra) the switch off for seven of the oldest npps for three months and the examination of all German npps. Merkel said that the decree like moratorium was no tactical election phase manoeuver and "completly applying to the situation(it was more meant like matter - id est -probably -uranium thus). " The conservatives in Baden Wuerttemberg finished their election contest already on friday with the virtual support of Angela Merkel. The parties were massively advertising their cause (ideology) on saturday with stands in the pedestrian zones in the respective German states as well.

Wisconsin union law published despite court order

Wisconsin union law published despite court order

MADISON, Wis. – Wisconsin officials couldn't agree Friday about whether an explosive law taking away nearly all public worker collective bargaining rights was about to take effect after a nonpartisan legislative bureau published it despite a court order blocking implementation.

The head of the Legislative Reference Bureau that made the move, as well as a nonpartisan attorney for the Legislature, said the action was merely procedural. But Republican legislative leaders, who encouraged the bureau's action, insisted it meant law would take effect Saturday.

Gov. Scott Walker's office, meanwhile, would issue only a vague statement saying simply that the administration planned to carry out the law as required.

The move is just the latest in a series of parliamentary and legal maneuvers employed over the past six weeks to enact a bill that prompted Senate Democrats to flee the state to block a vote and brought on waves of Capitol protests that grew larger than 85,000 people as Wisconsin became the center of a national fight over union rights.

A False Flag for Walker

Scott Walker, Governor of Fitzwalkerstan, has been getting a lot of advice from rabid Indiana Republican officials. First a Republican Assistant DA suggested Walker use live ammunition against protestors. Now a Republican Deputy Prosecutor has been caught in an email, suffusing that Walker stage a false flag operation.

CLASS WAR -- Wisconsin's Nasty Spring Election: Impartiality with Its Sleeves Rolled

The partisan divide on display in Wisconsin— which is eroding the neighborliness found in small communities across the state—is also infecting the nation. The political fervor finds an America acting out an increasingly satirical reverse version of Mao's Cultural Revolution, such as in Maine, where lawmakers have removed a historical mural simply because it depicted the state's labor history. Meanwhile, with an election approaching on April 5, Wisconsin finds itself in an absolute fit over partisanship. After using no nuance whatsoever to gin up support, by characterizing union workers as thuggish tapeworms infecting the intestinal tract of society, the pro-Walker camp is insisting on absolute ideals of impartiality and nonpartisanship in the April 5th supreme court election. And so conservative incumbent David Prosser is trying desperately to pull free the lynchpin that until quite recently hitched his wagon to the Governor's train. Last week, emails leaked in which it was revealed that Prosser had, in addition to saying he would destroy her, called Chief Justice Shirley Abrahamson a "bitch."

Behind Michigan's "Financial Martial Law": Corporations and Right-Wing Billionaires

The think tank that inspired Wisconsin Gov. Rick Snyder's controversial bill is bankrolled by some of the same donors that funded Wisconsin's attack on unions. The Mackinac Center does not disclose its donors. But a review of tax records shows that the group's funders include the charitable foundations of the nation's largest corporations and a host of wealthy conservative and libertarian benefactors. Between 2002 and 2009, the Mackinac Center's donors included the Charles G. Koch Foundation ($69,151), founded by the chairman and CEO of Koch Industries, who, with his brother, David, is a major backer of conservative causes; the Dick and Betsy DeVos Foundation ($80,000), the charity tied to the son of the co-founder of Amway, the multibillion-dollar direct marketing company; the Edgar and Elsa Prince Foundation, established by the parents of Blackwater founder Erik Prince, who serves as the foundation's vice president ($195,000); and the Walton Family Foundation ($100,000), established by Wal-Mart founder Sam Walton and his wife, Helen.

First They Came for Your Public Pension, Then Your Jobs, Now the FL Gov Wants Your PISS

First, the Koch-funded Rick Scott came for your pension. Then he took your jobs. Anyone who is left in public service will now submit to frequent, random drug testing. Make no mistake people, this about DEHUMANIZING anyone who might still have the energy and will to stand up to this carpet-bagging dictator. Our state is supposedly broke, but Rick Scott has miraculously found the money to search into your bloodstream at any given time. It's not like drug use is a problem -- this is about Rick Scott making sure that teachers and anyone with a stake in community-based employment has the frequent experience of having to open up their body for a full search and seizure. The message is RICK SCOTT OWNS YOUR ASS, b/c if he were at all concerned about drug use, he'd wouldn't be using political capital to protect oxycontin pill mills and drug dealers from public scrutiny. Rick Scott doesn't give a shit about drugs -- he wants us to know that your "resistance" will be met with ruin. "You want to protest us stealing your pension? Well guess what -- we're going to drug test you, and who knows...we might just find something." http://www.democraticunderground.com/discuss/duboard.php?az=view_all&address=439x722600

Portugal's Prime Minister Quits After Debt-Cutting Plan Nixed

Obama & Libya

I think Obama is doing quite the right thing. He is not rushing it, on the other hand he is participating.

Libya mission gaining, as US looks to cede control

AP – 19 mins ago

President Barack Obama categorically ruled out a land invasion to oust Libyan leader Moammar Gadhafi Wednesday as coalition forces launched a fifth day of air strikes against government military targets in the North African nation. Full Story »

Cohn Bendit lamented about Libya today and I want to take the opportunity to remark sth as well

He lamented that he doesn't understand his own party anymore. He is the eco leader in EU's parliament. He said he doesn't understand why his party doesn't rush to war with Ghaddafi. I think instead, the ecos represented peace positions for a while, so I think one should point out sth. about the Libya mission.
German Yahoo

A) The rebels were under high pressure when the UN resolution hit
B) France was pretty quick in intervening and it was quite good they did, so the Rebels still hold Benghazi and they dont need to blow up the whole country again to get rid of Ghaddafi.
C) Sarkozy was pretty fast in intervening because he got elections next year and he got pressure from the right so he is acting "leader like"
D) strong man policies are not necessarily left policies
E) This time its about Ghaddafi and I like the idea, but when it comes to another Iraq, I guess, others and me wont be so eager to participate.
F) Westerwelle is of course formally correct in mentioning that the French action was too fast and the Turks couldnt act this way even if they wanted. I mean ok, the guy is gay. But next time, we may be not this happy about a possible intervention.

In the end it comes down to the point that Cohn Bendit says you can throw your principal peace position overboard right now with all the exceptions it ever had. Best deal ever. I don't think so.

McDonalds or how you get cheated for 10 Euros

When I got out the train at the railway station today, I visited some McDonalds quick store within the railway station.
Dort bestellte ich mir ein Big Mac Menu.
I ordered a Bic Mac menu there. It costs currently 6 Euro 19. Furthermore, the menu was advertised through some plate on the wall. Thus I looked at the plate while ordering and I said "1 Big Mac Menu." The cashier said: "which one?" I said: "The one on the plate, costing 6 Euro 19." Cashier: "With a Coolaaaa?" I said: "yeah Cola would be nice." I said: "Furthermore I'd like a Cheeseburger." Cashier: "a Cheeeeeseburgeeer?" Obviously, the order was so unbelievable, that he had to ask for it.
I said nerved: "yes a Cheeseburger." Cashier: "Adds to 7 Euros 19."
I just wanted to hand him the money when he said: "Big Mac not yet in, Fries 2 minutes." I said: "Cant change it." He went to get the Coke.
I stared for a while at the Cheeseburger on the board (that was already done) when he understood after 30 seconds my desiring anticipating views. Cashier:" Do you like to eat the Cheeseburger right now?" while he was holding the Cheeseburger in his hand after he grabbed it out of the storage. To prevent him from eating it himself while being unable to put it on the tablett I said: "Of course I want to eat it right now, am I supposed to stare for 5 minutes at the roof while you are doing fries?" Cashier:"I can serve it as a whole also." Because it wasnt a whole right now and because it was still 5 minutes away before it could become a whole I said: "
This is a Fast Food restaurant, isnt it?" Cashier:"What kind of problem do you have?" (!!!) I said "Fast means Fast doesnt it?"He said "maybe" and grabbed for my 10 Euros. He closed the desk -more or less flat out. Cashier: "You have to level your tone." I said: "If you are obviously unable to sell a Big Mac, I dont know what you want." Cashier: "I dont have people shouting at me."
I said: "I made a contract with you (Its called a contract in Germany only if you order a Coke) and you cashed my money already. I want my meal." Cashier: "We can go to the police right away." I said: "I want my money back." Cashier: "You wont get it." I said: Alright, lets go to the cops."
When we got to the cops, the cashier explained lengthy that he felt treated miserably. I had to defend against his accusationsfor a while, which were totally absurd.

It got so extended that the cops checked our identities and made photocopies of our passports.
Finally he said: "Now you will get the whoooole money back."
I thought this 2 b a provocation and I said so and I got repudiated by a cop.

My opinion: If I eat for 7 Euros 19 some stupid Big Mac, Cheeseburger with fries and a coke, I dont like to experience that the cashier tells me in some encrypted form that he is obviously flat out broke due to me.

At the police station he wasnt also idle to claim that visitors got disturbed by me. I said "the place was completly empty, only 3 people fit into it."
Cashier: "Its sufficient there is only one baby in it, damaged for life."

I dont like some McDonalds statement calling me some fucking child abuser on a police station. Last time I got into it.

Ballack and the imperial interests of Arizona

Welcome to Kindergarden
Ballack insults by megaphone
Now, in the last thread I was busy to decry the imperial efforts of Arizona. Mr.Ballack is some kind of truesome rebel as well.He insulted Cologne located in Germany via megaphone and called it a pile of shit. He is currently playing soccer for Bayer Leverkusen. Leverkusen is located 20 km northwards of Cologne.

There is of course some story to both the cities in recent history. Yesterday I was riding in a train. I had some talk with a beardy guy. In the 70s when there was a rush to form mega-municipalities, what was somehow connected to Russian efforts to get some efficiency into the administration of their extended landmass, Cologne tried to get a hold of Leverkusen. The effort- 2 abbrevi8 it - failed. Leverkusen is still no part of Cologne.
Companies are required to pay commerce tax in Germany. The municipalities receive it. Now, when Bayer chemicals got to know they need to pay taxes in Cologne and not in Leverkusen anymore, they were quite disturbed. Till then, they got some deal in Leverkusen. Because they provided jobs in Leverkusen, they got a tax exempt or some deal, so Bayer hardly paid a commerce tax in Leverkusen.
Next thing that happened was that Bayer paid the debts of Leverkusen, what was 290mio DM, 145 mio Euro today, but it is much more today speaking of inflation.

Because you only need to prove your eligibility in financial terms as a municipality in Germany to stay independent and not to be merged.

So Leverkusen sued -debt free - and stayed independent.

The other side of the story is that Cologne faces Nurremberg this weekend and, well, I think in Nurremberg the Nazis held some gatherings.

Anyway again, I think the balanced perspective of Mr Ballack towards average shitpiles is so remarkable it should be mentioned.

He is still captain of Germany's national soccer team.

The philosophical aspect of Rhode Island and California, the union and Bank of America

Arizona Senate President tells Tea Party: You are not US citizens

Well, in 1860, California joined the union and was part of the American civil war. Many people discerned later that cities like Los Angeles are within the territory of California. Several population centers developed on Yankee territory. There is for example Chicago or New York or or Los Angeles. Again these centers are connected through roads and air line connections as well as phone lines. We call this infrastructure. This infrastructure is mainly located on US territory (for 99% I guess despite it is Canada). Now for the historical development of the US, there are remnants of this historical development, for example Rhode Island. This is neither good nor bad, it simply adds to the fact that the US shines through its diversity. In fact the US became a lightning wedge in human development and as we listen to the word united it surely implies that the spirit of this country is mainly a joined effort.
I was anyway astonished that some conservative made a statement hinting that he doesnt like the federal order of the US but likes to become some seperatist to pursue his personal interest right ahead of the French department vote. There arent states in France, there are departments, and it limits heavily the freedom towards the federal govt.
Now, normally, dictators prefer heavily to have some direct command pipe towards each fucking village within their reign. This is of course not the case in France. The point I'm trying to make is only that this Arizona perspective is surely not a Nazi standard perspective.
On the other hand, we might assume that the senate leader from Arizona doesn't like to take commands from Mr.Obama.

Now, as I have depicted before, the US was some voluntary union and the constitution it has was rooted in the idea of life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness.

Now the Arizona senate leader is obviously opining that he is neither bound to commands from Mr Obama nor is he in any form required to respect the will of the people to form an union which is not at the behest of his willful opinion.

Id call it hypocrisy.

Whereas Republicans are mostly eager to defend the values of marriage despite Karl Rove and are defending transterritorial interests of BOA, they are lame when it comes to find the individual in a whole. As of such, they call the result tea party. That is a misunderstanding. The tea party took place because people wanted their union away from the Empire. They called it US. It's obvious that Arizona has a certain difficulty in understanding this.

French Nazis out for a laugh

France voted during the weekend in something others would call gouvernor vote. There isn't such a system in France. The link between in between state and cities isn't for example called Missouri but department. There are pretty many of them in France and the most reliable thing are French number plates: they end in a number. As you might have guessed, the number stands for the respective department. Brest with a B is for example number 29. They are in alphabetical order.

The French department voting yielded that French Nazis gained, but mainly from conservatives. In the first round of voting FN candidates didnt only qualify for a 2 person runoff but are sometimes even ahead in percentage points. As of such FN general secretary Steeve Briois received in his northern French "castle" Henin Beaumont 36% of the votes and he can hope to hold the first general seat in a department representation as a nazi. The circuits of Reims and Perpignan and Metz show some pretty clear Nazi advantage also.

The gains for the nazis were mainly rooted in losses for the conservatives (UMP). The govt party suffered some aching loss 13 months ahead of the presidential vote in spring 2012 .according to the French press. The economical paper "La Tribune" sees a strong correction for the party of Nicolas Sarkozy." The pro govt paper of Paris "Le Figaro" sees a historical repulse for the burgoise right.
The UMP comments only with the statement that this (department) voting is mostly used to correct the govt party.
Thus the result isn't too hefty.
"Coherently" the head of the UMP Copé announced that his party wont build an alliance with the extreme right nor will it form some "Republican Front" with the left against the FN candidates.

With this neither-nor the UMP adds only to the further banalisation of the party of Marine LePen cause it doesnt make a diffrence between democratic forces and nazis.
The socialists added that in 2002, the left voted coherently for the conservative candidate Chiraq (when he was facing LePen the older).

Left parties who currently control 58 of 100 departments are deemed to make some gains on sunday. Socialists, leftfront (leftparties and communists) and the ecos besides other lefties received a voting margin around 50 % on last sunday, UMP got 17 , and the Nazis received 15,2%.
Absence was at at 55,5%.

BENGHAZI, Libya — A coalition of American and European forces bombed Libyan targets by air and sea Saturday in the first phase of a military campaign to drive Moammar Gadhafi from power.

French warplanes fired the first shots in the broadest international military effort since the Iraq war, destroying government tanks and armored vehicles in the region of the rebels' eastern stronghold, Benghazi. Hours later, British and U.S. warships and submarines launched more than 110 Tomahawk missiles against Gadhafi's air defenses around the capital Tripoli and the western city of Misrata, which has been besieged by Gadhafi's forces, Pentagon officials said.
Early Sunday morning, several loud explosions were heard in Tripoli, followed by what sounded like bursts of anti-aircraft fire.
Libyan state TV on Sunday quoted the government's armed forces command as saying 48 people were killed and 150 wounded in the allied assault. The statement said most of the casualties were children. The report could not be independently confirmed.
The aim of the coalition's operation, dubbed Odyssey Dawn, was to enforce a United Nations-sanctioned no-fly zone over Libya and stop Gadhafi from attacking overwhelmed rebel forces in the east.

Nate Dogg is deceased

Nate Dogg, whose hooks boosted rap hits, dies

LOS ANGELES – Singer Nate Dogg, whose near monotone crooning anchored some of rap's most seminal songs and helped define the sound of West coast hip-hop, has died at age 41.

Nate Dogg, whose real name was Nathaniel D. Hale, died Tuesday of complications from multiple strokes, said Attorney Mark Geragos.

Nate Dogg wasn't a rapper, but he was an integral figure in the genre: His deep voice wasn't particularly melodic, but its tone — at times menacing, at times playful, yet always charming — provided just the right touch on hits including Warren G's "Regulate," 50 Cent's "21 Questions," Dr. Dre's "The Next Episode" and countless others.

GOP Has Yet To Bring 'Something – Anything – New' To Budget Stalemate, Senate Leader Charges

With the clock ticking with just days before the federal government faces its first shutdown in more than a decade, Democrats and Republicans remain divided not only in the dollar amount of their budget cuts, but also in a "willingness to compromise," according to Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid.

Sarkozy is mentally debilitated

in the eyes of Muhammar Gaddafi. He even peppers it with a certain sarcasm mentioning that Sarkozy has a lot of tirades but doesnt press for the no fly zone. In other words, Sarkozy is only some lousy appeaser who likes to waffle a lot but coming to grips with his exegeses is none of his business. Thats the problem about people with no spine. They act out of no motivation than to cheat the other one faster than he'll possibly ever can. Thats why you can call French foreign policy a junkyard ever since this lousy axxhole is in power.

That is what I like so much about this situation: first we had the rumsfelders who pressed for an intervention noone needed, now we got 500 stupid appeasers who blurb they are possibly longing for world peace.

Germany: NPP policies in shambles

Well, Merkel's term is till now one of those in which the fewest laws got passed. Merkel passed a reduction for the sales tax for hotels to 7% only to have a vivid discussion in her own govt afterwards to lift it again. Merkel didn't have too many milestones. Currently, she is battling the state of NRW (sth like California) for a budget too big. Her first man at the frontier is German minister of environment, Mr.Roettgen. In a matter of propaganda, Mrs Merkel fought for low energy prices, id est in this case cheap nuclear energy. Only a few days ago, Merkel could come "to social grips" and she had the "life-line" for NPPs extended by some years. All of a sudden, or call it this Hieroshima revival Fukushima, Mrs Merkel distances herself from an extended run-time. Comments? "Merkel presses the emergency stop button to her own nuclear energy policies," among others of course. To get back to NRW, Mr.Roettgen got renewedly hit, caught with ridiculous promises and is making the flit from them faster than you can perceive. "Total Hazard" is only polite.

DAY OF SHAME: Dozens Arrested in Wisconsin Protests; Dems Shove Their Way Back Into Assembly

Police carried dozens of protesters from a hallway leading to the Wisconsin Assembly today as Democratic representatives pounded on the locked door of the chamber, demanding to be let in to the room where a vote was scheduled on an explosive bill that would take away public workers’ collective bargaining rights. At least 100 protesters packed the hallway, pounding drums, while the Democratic representatives gathered in front of the doors, which were opened just before 11:30 a.m. At least 50 protesters were carried out by police, and the building was locked down briefly while officers did a security review. Protesters packed the Assembly gallery, sitting quietly as lawmakers prepared to vote. In other parts of the building, they called out and shouted as television cameras recorded the scene. Police began clearing protesters out about an hour before the scheduled vote. Danny Spitzberg, 26, a graduate student at the University of Wisconsin-Madison, said officers gave protesters little explanation for why they needed to leave. He walked out on his own after being ordered to leave, but others were dragged through the hall. "This is grossly undemocratic, it stinks up the whole process," Spitzberg said.

Unconfirmed reports that three people had been shot sent oil futures on a steep upturn on a day where most markets were trading deeply in the red. Ahead of a “day of rage” planned for Friday by protestors look for political reform in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, the government had imposed a protest ban and mobilized security forces; if confirmed, the attacks would signal that King Abdullah’s administration would be enforce the ban through the use of violence.

Its definitely not the way of the lowest resistance, it might actually be very harmful and loud and noisy to kill teachers unions. Furthermore it might damage the development of the younger if you dont provide to them proper schools. So this way is... dangerous. Well, the only scheme I can detect here is to fight the right of organization... OR the right of assembly... some even like to say the right (to put up your own) order. So what we got here from the great old party are some lousy retro boosters aiming to slidder us backwards to the time before Charlie (Marx) and tell us that workers MIGHT NOT organize as they desire. Thats 2 much of a baseball bat and I like the idea of a general strike.

Germany: bio fuel stays -unsupported

ya,well i heard this bio fuel discussion in germany and i must admit im totally frustrated by it. First up its obvious that ethanol is much more environment friendly than heavy oil.The recycling process of some 2oil converted grain to grain again will be faster than heavy oil out of the depths of the earth.
Till the end of the 50s, an ethanol part of upto 25% in fuel was normal in Germany. If you use old tractors you can use the Mammutflasch Lambrusco (BAP) as well. Simply go to ALDI and buy some. Well the liter Lambrusco wont be much more expensive than a liter of gas station fuel.

The car industry is obviously unwilling 2 publish car types which can use ethanol. Why? Its obvious that high end engines are fine tuned. So, the guy driving the 850 cant use it, but the 323 can? Its obvious that this will cause some open mouths and some car makers arent longing for the publication.

So, because Merkel studied Physics in the GDR, the communists probably told her that you can ride a T34 with Vodka also. Her nervy naive appearances in the context are totally disgusting and the car lobby should stop paying her for the crap.

Bio-Fuel desaster in Germany

NRWs Christ dems were lately pretty eager to express their desire for new elections. Now, Roettgen, federal minister of environment, who is conservative also, didn't introduce bio-fuel with much state support. It's an average 10 cents more expensive than average fuel while it contains 10 % of fuel that is made of agricultaral origin. Now, I think it would have been a thorough success if the effort on the govt side would have been bigger, especially because it wouldn't have been very difficult, because the tax on German fuel is enormous. But, as always, Roettgen and Schaeuble -minister of finance - didn't come together and the result is dull. Most gas stations don't deliver it anymore.
Roettgen is head of NRW's conservatives while he is minister of environment. And while Lammert was lately decrying the lack of effort to save money, this is a clear case of total failure, where a bit more money would have pushed success. As such, it is a hazard.

Polls: France: Nazis ahead of conservatives

German NTV

She is the daughter of nazi Jean Marie LePen and she leads the party front nacionale at his place. She would receive according to a recent poll most of the votes during the upcoming presidential vote in France. The socialists yell it's the own fault of the current head of state Sarkozy.

Read also: 19jan: French extreme right anoints Marine LePen

Shock news for the French president Nicolas Sarkozy: the head of the far right front nacionale, Marine LePen, would currently gain a victory out of the first round of the presidential vote. That is the result of a representative poll for the paper "Le Parisien." According to it, the 42 year old would gather 23 % of the vote. Marine LePen got the job recently from her father. Sarkozy and his socialist rival, the head of PS, Martine Aubry both received 21%. The vote will take place in may 2012 though.

wiki: Martine Aubry

comment: Well, I think its really "totally breathtaking" that Marine followed her father. But, thats no big surprise. So wheres the sudden gain in votes coming from? THe only thing that is more interesting is that Aubry is mayor of Lille and FN held its inauguration party for Marine there, so you could think that FN chases Aubry.

Then again, if you really anticipate that FN subtracted some votes from Aubry by stirring some fuzz in Lille, Sarkozy should do much better, cause till now, he hardly got a scratch from Marine LePen. In other words, Sarkozy's vote margin is abyssmal.
