Personal loan scandal concerning German president Wulff: According to a Bild-report Federal President Christian Wulff is under suspicion to have lied during his time as prime minister of lower Saxony to the state parliament in Hanover on 18 February 2010. "Bild" relates to documents available to the paper. It is about 500,000 euros, which the couple Wulff borrowed privately by the wife of an entrepreneur of Lower Saxony. Wulff explained at that time in parliament: "Between prime minister Wulff and the persons and entities specified in the inquiry were in the last ten years no business relations."
