I still remember when Engholm and Vogel trashed Kohl for weeks for the membership of Alexander Schalck-Golodkowski in his party. Well, Kohl had held some hands out and - lifted sometimes the wrong one. It was totally absurd though to lambast Kohl for weeks for Schalck Golodkowski. Merkel is in a similiar position. I think if she goes off course now, she wont announce Leninism in Germany. I think it is an utterly stupid move of Germanys social dems. Though, hey, squinting is not a crime. There are elections in Bavaria soon.
