Germany:Illicit party donations
THERE ARE ELECTIONS IN RHINANIA-PALATINATE ON 27-3-11
German parliament enacted a fine amounting to 1.2mio dollars for the German conservatives.The conservatives have to pay this sum because the party organization violated the prohibition to funnel money from the reps as reps in parliament to the party organization for the election campaign, president of parliament Lammert said. The party admitted shortly before the announcement to the violation.
