Hanna Renate Laurien is deceased
The Christ Dem politician and former senator for education of Berlin is deceased. This was corresponded by the archdiocese of Berlin on friday. Laurien died aged 81. She held the post as senator for education from 81 to 89. Before, she was minister for culture in Rhinania Palpatinate from 1976-81. Berlins mayor wowereit praised her as a very educated, divisive, exceptionally fair and human personality and politician. The church praised her as a divisive and virtuos woman.
