Another issue in the German parliament was today during the budget discussion the party financing of the chronically broke lib dems.A million euro donation of Moevenpick hotel owner to the lib dems
was the centre of a hefty verbal brawl. Ecos and Social Dems criticized the lowering of the sales tax for hotel stays by the conservative govt. as sheer support for "the own voters". They demanded the lib dems 2 pay the money back. A speedy application of the ecos to vote upon taking the tax relief back was though declined by conservatives and lib dems.
