Leading conservatives pressure German chancellor Angela Merkel for action facing falling poll numbers. Baden-Württemberg's prime Günther Oettinger demanded in ZDF from Christ Dem head to show what is SHEER-CONSERVATIVE (sheer german christ dems). He demanded Merkel furthermore to profile her party more. "At some point Angela Merkel has to put her chancellor-uniform in the wardrobe and then she has to wear the uniform of the candidate for chancellor and such of the party head" he told Hamburger Abendblatt.
The most fitting start of the election campaign would be mid aug according to oettinger.

At the same time Oettinger demanded Merkel to make some offers to the economical-liberal part of the party and the conservative wing.
"If we got a well-prepared election-program and put in the ideas of the economical and liberal wing we got best chances."
Then the image of Merkel will also be diffrent. Nobody will c her anymore as the chancellor of compromise of the grand coalition.
