Germany: Pupils drank so much during school trip in Turkey that they had more than 7/1000 alcohol in veins

Which venemous stuff did the youngsters drink during their school trip? An alcohol-orgy ended deadly for high-school pupil Rafael N. (21 years,pictured) in the Turkish city of Kemer. 2 of his class-comrades are still in life-threatening condition. They were put in artificial coma.

A total of 6 Lübecker pupils are still remaining in hospital in the Turkish city of Antalya. Jean-Pierre F. (18 years, Coma)is reported to have had 77/10000 of alcohol in his veins when brought into hospital, his comrade Jan L. (20 years,also in a state of coma) had a similiarly-elevated level.
How could the youngsters drink so much?
The teacher, (55 years) who accompanied the 3 girls and 8 boys, enacted an alcohol prohibition on day 3 because the boys had too many drinks at the hotel-bar of "Anatolia Beach." Obviously the boys circumvented the prohibition by walking to some liqour store 200 meters off opened 24h 7 days. The salesman remembers:"They were here and they bought Vodka and Raki and beer and chips. " The salesman points to a certificate; he says hes checked permanently by authorities and hes only selling branded stuff.

The high alcohol-level of the victims supports this idea. The top doctor in Hamburg-Barmbek at the Asklepios hospital Siegbert Faiss (44) says: More alcohol than 5/1000 may be lethal. That these guys survived more than 7/1000 is astonishing.
Doctor Kirstin Lenssen from Berlin adds: A coma-like condition occurs when people will not be able to breath properly anymore. Furthermore the chance exists that liquids enter the lungs. Heavy organic damages are the consequence.
