I think the connection to the dow value is that the dow value is somehow connected to the gdp. and if people cant produce the gdp drops.

so unemployment and no-production can form a vicious circle that can rotate faster ever and ever

see if the dow drops its most of the time a drop in gdp, meaning companies sold less than before.

if people get fired as a consequence, most of the time the dow rises again.
