He didnt step back as fast as he used to ride thru towns. There was a need for speed in this case though as a sign of political virtue. The late self-discernation of the minister that he " wouldnt be a shining example any longer" doesnt prove any interlectual throughput while claiming his crime. A minister of traffic being a repeat offender is so valid for this office as the wolf as a sheppard. It's belongs into the drawer 'political tastelessness' that Wittke campaigned for the traffic watch campaign "reduce your speed." It remains surprising as a side story the Ruettgers didnt fire Wittke when the scandal became public.But Wittke is head of the important Christ Dem district Ruhr and that is important for the tektonix of might in this state-district of the Christ Dems. Thats been the reason for Ruettgers delay and this reasoned also Wittkes hope for a political future. Cause hes one of the rare talents in the NRW-Christ Dem party. If he concentrates on his qualities and if he says good-bye to being superficial, hell stay valuable for the christ dems. For now though he has to take a rowdy seat far back in the bus of might.
