Rocket fire into Southern Israel continues

My disturbing observation persists: the Hamas continues to fire missiles into Southern Israel. I mean that still fuels their original provocation what was in fact to fire missiles into southern Israel. I mean Israel had this (pretty lousy) reason to attack. Disturbing that Hamas continues to commit these strikes. The only thing that will happen is that the Israeli generals will be called inane by their population.


GAZA CITY (CNN) -- Hamas rocket fire into southern Israel persisted Monday despite a now 10-day campaign of Israeli airstrikes and two nights of ground combat in northern Gaza.

Thirty targets were hit overnight in Gaza, according to the Israeli military, including what it said was a mosque that was used to store a large amount of weapons. A number of militants are known to have been killed when a rocket launcher was destroyed, a military spokesman said, but no number was given. Israel also hit a suspected anti-aircraft emplacement.

Israel Defense Forces also said it targeted tunnels that Hamas has used for moving munitions under the border and into Gaza from Egypt. The Israeli navy also shelled targets in Gaza. But observers along Gaza's frontier with Israel saw at least one rocket strike inside Israeli territory Monday morning.
