Nice explosion, though

>

What kind of explosives were used? Looks kinda American...

The background appears darker in the second pic cause the explosion is so bright. Thus many electromagnetic waves have been set free. But its not a blue flame for a very hot fire. This could be some artificial explosive like semtex or TERMATE! Melting steeeeeeeel?! hehehe... 911 all over again I guess

(ok could be 10tons of gasoline also-but I dont see a fuel tanker on the pic)

I think the explosion occurs somewhere in this vicinity

Regardless whether its this car or the car moving behind on the junction, its obvious that the explosion grabs space very quickly. So even if its only fuel that explodes there has been some device with at least a small charge of diffrent materials to ignite it in this way.

another clear indicator for the sudden impact of the explosion is that the white car isnt very far off from its position from the first pic.
so goin normal at 30-40mph it only takes the car 10 secs or less to get this far.

crater of explosion

the two cars seen on this picture strongly remind of the two cars u see in the two pics above standing to the right of the road. If so, the explosion ripped exactly into the opposing direction from where the pics were taken.
